Plastic door lining
The plastic sheeting that goes on the inside of the door - does it go on the inside of the door or between the inner door panel and the metal of the door?

All I've ever seen are on the outside, between the door and the inner door panel. It is a moisture barrier.

I just pulled the panels off the doors of my rally bug (73 Super) and doc is correct, it goes between the door panel and the door.

It's called a vapor bearier. It keeps moisture off the door panel.

Yea, and be sure to actually put them in... the last guy who owned my car left them out and the panel is rotting away now
