a 1776 with good heads and dual carbs should make for a good rice killer(most ricers run stock motors with coffee can tips).
if you want more than that i would suggest a stroker motor(2007cc is a good size for a fast street engine).
i wouldn't just build the motor though(unless you want a true stock looking sleeper) i would also do something to improve its looks to go with the new power.
