does anyone use thermo wrap on headers???
is it worth the money,does it keep heat out of engine compartment

yes it is good stuff but in Aust it is about $150 for a system for the good stuff.
There is a cheap version that clips around for about half the cost but i dont think it seals properly

Hi
I just got my turbo headers and exhaust housing HP coated. It cost around $400.00Au which I think is cheap when I think of the time I put into making them. This should make them last a lot longer and will hopefully keep the heat inside the pipes where it is needed.
As far as wraps go a friend of mine used it on his daily driver. His car sat outside its whole life and he often only drove his car a short distance to the railway station, so after a short while the pipes rotted away because the dampness in the wrap never got burnt away.
