Scat Drag Fast Shifter in a 63 bus
My 16 year old and I are putting together a 63 bus and just got a Scat Drag shifter from a guy on the SAMBA. It appears we'll need longer bolts..... and it bothers me that it doesn't sit flat on the floor because there is a depression in the floor were the shifter sits. Do we need to shim it?

If it's anything like the EMPI (Hurst copy) shifter, you must space it... Either a 1/4" or 3/8" rectangular spacer I think... The spacer size is dependant on the distance the shifter cup is from the floor plate.
