I'm sure this one will be obvious, but what style front suspension dose my type1 have. It is a 75 standard beetle. How can I tell if its adjustable or not. Or are the adjustable frontends aftermaket? I was told that if there were two allen bolts on the front end that it was adjustable. There is a rod with an allen bolt for the top and the bottom of the spindle, each one has an allen bolt. Thanks for any info I can get.
I have lowered quite a few trucks, some with spindles and a few with torsion bars. But I have never seen a torsior bar set up like this before. Thanks agian

Front end woes
A 75 standard Beetle has ball joints. Adjustable beams are aftermarket only. I have Avis adjusters on my 74. You can see a picture at http://www.glenn-ring.com/resto/resto8.html.
