Brand new one-piece headliner kit - NO PART NUMBER

Post by namelesswonder »

Brand new headliner, bought for a '74 Standard, so it should fit '68-77 standard (do your own research though!). It's a one-piece kit, requires you to take out the front, rear, and quarter-panel windows to install. I think I took it out of the box once, it may have some dirt on the exposed section from the box being open in the garage for 3 years, but otherwise it's brand new.

It's the usual off-white color. I also have headliner bows and I think I have caps for them somewhere if you want those too (would need to charge more for shipping as the bows would need to go in a poster tube, separate from headliner).

I can get a part number if you want it to double check compatibility. I'm asking $70+shipping. PM me!

Well you were right. no part number. I can't find one with the headliner, just some odd instructions (looks like it was typed on a type-writer and includes drawings!). The headliner should fit a 68-77 standard. Now I am slightly concerned however because according to Mid America Motorworks, there's a special headliner for a '74 beetle (what mine was). I do not know if the headliner I have has 5 or 6 spots for bows, and I am kind of afraid to unfold it... http://www.mamotorworks.com/acvw?frame=1.4883

Oh and this supposedly "one piece' business includes separate door posts covers from what I can see.

Now that it's in my room, I'll be forced to deal with it. Post count tomorrow. Wish me luck folding it up again!

---edit----
Counting posts tonight. Once I get that figured out, please PM me with interest ASAP, I have another buyer interested because I forgot I had this listed elsewhere!
