Vonkr,
since the unit is out of the car I can not come up with anything better than to check that the diaphragm is OK. Put it under vaccum and see that it holds it.
Hmm, I see what I can do / check. I understand that the best way to check it, is
build it in and try
The problem is that somebody wants to sell it, but lives a few hundred miles away.
(in another country) So sending a broken part won't make us both happy.
You could simply connect the air suction line from the servo to your intake manifold (same connection as warm up air valve) - it should not rise the idle if tight.
Hi Ronald,
A late reply, I am not a daily forum visitor. I do have a similar servo unit. Problem is, that you need a different set of foot pedals (don't know if that's te right word) and probably some other stuff as well to make this work. Over the past 12 years that I own a 411 I have not seen this item come by at eBay or Marktplaats.
By mistake, I once bought a master cylinder for the servo unit; if you happen to need this, it's available.
greetings, Jan Peter
Thanks for the advice, but... it's sold and on his way to Norway...
the guy who bought it, said that some type2 components will also fit for this one...
So I hope it's working...
