Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

Hello friends.
My name is Denilson, I'm from Brazil and I follow the topic.
I have a cage for off road use.
I'll put reductions, but am concerned about the problem of jumps.
What can I do to lessen the jumps?
Help me!
Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks

Welcome to the STF Denilson. There are a lot of different ways to address wheel hop. We used a leaf spring for the rear suspension in my car. I am driving it with no shocks on the rear, and and I have not encountered any wheel hop. But I don't dump the clutch while standing on the throttle from a dead stop on pavement either. I will try to post up some pics over the week end.Denilson Maçaneiro wrote:Hello friends.

You should start a build thread and tell us about your car.

Hey, welcome to the STF Denilson also known to some as the dirt pile.
You might look into making some kind of Kaffer style bar to support the long rear transaxle mounts from flexing up and down. There are some commercial kits available but they seem to be kind of light weight in construction. I think drag racers, maybe some road race, and possibly auto-cross types use them for anti-chatter problems.
Pile driver has posted a bunch of pictures on how he built his.

Re: NQ JQKE
Here is a couple pics of the rear spring set up we designed.

Since the body is off I had to do a little weather proofing to keep the seats dry and water out of the engine, it rained yesterday.

Ran into a guy here in Pembroke that works out at Ft. Stewart that has a Manx and a bug, we are going to the reservation and play around on some trails in a couple hours. Since the body is off I am debating if I should put the 35's on the back and move the 33's to the front. The car is actually slower in 4th gear with the body off. It must be the windshield slowing it down.

Leave the wheels and tires you have on it now. Find out how it does before you change it. And what Winifredvw said goes dbl buddy!
