Herbie, I'll have someone pick them up at your house to save the S&H costs. What's a good time to pick them up?
I accidentally Googled my Twitter. (And I liked it)

Can you tell me more about your shocks? I am putting together a K&L dual purpose beetle with 1.5” aftermarket over sized trailing arms (stock torsion leafs).

During mockup with the beam it is obvious I will have to make my own upper shock mounts...so I might as well run a longer than stock shock...no real budget creep to change the shock at the same time.
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.

i had them mounted to a warrior beam w/ 10" towers and used stock trailing arms with the shock relocation kit that moore/ pac. customs sells.(welds to trailing arm) i bought them new from eshocks.com, you can go to their website and read about them.

here are the numbers on the shocks, i can't remember if the top or bottom number is the model number. the middle # is the valving. they are fully rebuildable/revalveable also. i just got a nitrogen kit so i can charge them for you if you want...

Can you double check the compressed length? The part number suggests that you have the short body version.
I haven't modified the shock tower yet, but I am hoping something like 8" (http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp ... C-C10-4180) will be an easy fit under stock inner fenders. Unless anyone is certain that the more common 10" tower kit are just as easy.

part number is correct, compressed length is 16 1/2"... i don't know if they will fit the 8" towers. pm jps1145, i think he has 8" towers on his beam, you could ask him what bilstein shocks he is using...

I think he is wanting a 6 volt charger.
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.
