Engine Tin
I have a 73 Westfalia, with the original engine. Is there an easy way of removing the engine tin?

Even with the engine out of the car and in a stand it's fairly involved to remove the sheetmetal from a Type IV engine.

When I was replacing the oil tube filler gasket, I had to remove one piece of tin so the tube could move back a bit to remove and install a new gasket. I got 3 of the screws out but one I had to grind the head off, now I have to drill it out.
