A friend of mine was replacing all his brake components when he found a leak in one of the main lines.A repair was made using copper.Somewhere I read that using copper as a brake line is ill advised.I need some good answers as I plan to have the mechanic read all posts.Thanks Roger

I wouldn't use copper, it is too fragile. I would use steel lines, and then steel braded to the drum.
