good shops

i need a list of good vw shops that are located in the lower main land (around vancouver) for interior, exterior, and engine work (basicaly a restoration shop). ANY would be great! name, location and phone number would help a lot!! thnx guys

Van Wonder in North Van is a good shop. Make sure you get the owner to work on your vehicle personally though for best results. Rudy and Peter Motors on East 2nd at Main are also good. I would recommend them both. My personal favorite is Duanes German Autohaus in Langley. I'm really happy with the engine and other work he's done for me. If you want brake or suspension work done, I'd recommend Valley Alignment in Langley,BC. The owners name is Jay and he does awesome work. I pulled into his shop the day before leaving on a cross country trip and he ended up changing the front wheel bearings for me. Even though he was booked up with other work. He won't BS you, I've taken probably my last five vehicles to him, and I've always been more than happy. Anyways, good luck with your vehicle.
