Anyone installed it yet? Sounds like a nice bolt on setup.

Re: CB Crank trigger kit
Kit is probably ok for what it is, but its just a "trigger" and a coil for all practical purposes, but still needs a electronic "box" to read sensor and control coils and ignition advance...

Do you have any pics of it installed? looks really bulky. I do really like the new style distributor plug though.mcmscott wrote:I have that system on my thing, works great

It does look kinda clunky looking....
Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Re: CB Crank trigger kit
With two schools of application here... CB went consumer oriented, that being what is simplest for average man to install..... For looks trigger wheel and sensor behind pulley is neater and cleaner...
These guys have a pretty clean trigger wheel/pulley combination ( little pricy) but there is no sensor or bracket (at least the I can see)....

Re: CB Crank trigger kit
That's the pulley that I am using.
http://www.boostengineering.net/product ... gkitbl.htm
I picked mine up used for less but it is painless to get one with zero runout on the wheel.
The nice thing about it is that you can adjust the trigger wheel to wherever you put the VR sensor.
My Sensor ended up being exactly 10 degrees ATDC and was easy to set.

thats basically the same thing for about 100 bucks cheaper,
pair it with:
http://www.boostengineering.net/product ... joltli.htm
and you have a fairly cheap map able ignition curve capability
of course this is diy kit so you have to figure out a crank sensor mount.
do to SOPA awarness blackout I am not able to access http://autosportlabs.com/
but if I remember correctly you can use the megajot jr with a map sensor kit and a TPS kit

That would be only one or the other not both at the same time.volksbugly wrote:http://www.boostengineering.net/product_p/edis4kit.htm
