Gutting a Ghia like a Fish

Post by david58 »

I have a 72 Ghia fixing to go under the knife. I will be pulling out the engine and tranny and and stripping the rear to bare bones then replacing everything on the suspension in the rear, except for the shoes wheel cylinders, and drums. I will be installing a bunch of parts.....the shift tube will get refurbished, all the cables in the rear will be replaced, all the little pieces made of rubber will also be replaced. So stay tuned in as usual I will be posting pics. I want to thank Gary @ Davis Motorsports for filling my parts order at prices that can't be beat. Tracking says parts will be here tomorrow. I got to finish putting the timing components on a 2000 Lincoln before I start on the Ghia. I will be rebuilding the front suspension on the Ghia at a later date.
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

Just keeping the rust gremlins in check doc
Oh and I will be tearing into the Ghia in a day or too. Replacing a bunch of parts this should be fun because I will be getting paid for it.
