yeah so i had a great easter, my uncle decided to tell me he had a 412 engine in his basement and that it was mine for the taking. i was just wondering if there was a website with the technical specifications on it or if anyone here could tell me. i belive it is fuel injected, and is somewhere around 1800cc's. any info on this engine would be helpful. thanks,

Hello
Just read the engine type number near the vent tower.
If ther is none then search on the other end towards the flywheel diagonaly along a rised surface.
1800 CC came only with L-Jetronic witch used a barn door to meter the air.
Previous 1,7 had the D-jetronic. Difference is easy to spot for insiders.
