I have diagrams for the type 4, (72, 73, and 74) They are not from the original shop manuals, but I compared them to my type 4 and they are dead on accurate as to color coding, location, and configuration. Also, included is a whole lot of specs information, parts numbers etc. If anyone wants them, I can scan and upload, but I need some instruction on how to do that so they are readable for everyone.
The diagrams are two pages each. The other information is about 30 pages long.
Are you game?

Wiring Diagrams! I found them.
I have 411 wiring diagrams (most from Haynes) on my website: http://www.spice50.freeserve.co.uk/vw/
You can usually pick up 411/412 Haynes manuals quite easily over here at shows...

I may take you up on the diagram copies . What I really would like to know is where can I get a copy of the Haynes, 411/412 manual you mentioned earlier. And congrats on your 412. Your posts have been very inspiring.JP
