Does anyone know the part number for a ngk D9ea equivalent in a resistor version?

Thanks Marc, speedster
Steve is that on a NA car or boosted? I want to find the right plug for my setup. Running edis and that's why I want the resistor type. I am currently running the d8ea right now without resets. Want to try their colder plug.

NGK heat ranges are inverted from Bosch. An "8" NGK is three steps colder than stock (5). A 9 NGK is a very cold plug.
I run 12.2:1 compression N/A at the moment. NGK six was working nice except when very heat soaked I could get some ping. A switch to 7 range has cured that for me.

NGK DPR8EA-9 gapped at ~.025. No problems at 15psi.Corysvdub wrote:Speedster what plugs are you running?

Are you running any fuel or meth injection?

Currently running 20% 110 to 80% 91 and meth starts spraying at 11psi. Getting ready to add a water to air intercooler and now Chip has me thinking of picking up a set of squishies to boot. Merry Christmas to me!!!Corysvdub wrote:Are you running any fuel or meth injection?

Oh ok, I keep hearing about these squishies what makes them squishies? I'm running 12# + on occasions with 91 octane right now with water to air intercooler.

They have a specially designed piston top which the combustion chamber would need to match - not flat like our standard piston.Corysvdub wrote:Oh ok, I keep hearing about these squishies what makes them squishies? I run squishies in the engine I mentioned above with over 12:1 compression and pump 91.

I want a set of squishies and some nikasil cylinders to go with them. Alas, I has no money.
