VALVE COVER HEAT SHEILD

Post by 69SQBCK »

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in using these heat sheilds in the air cooled V.W. application?

yup. Heard the wap will make your exhaust last only a year or two. Course that all they last sometimes eitherway.
Cermanic coatings is the way to go, cost a little more, but makes the exhaust last longer and helps keep the heat down a bit. I am sure there are some FAQ'a on the cooling part of it.

Here is something I found when looking for something that I dont remember now. Seems like a neet idea, but it is made for a Porsche. http://www.seinesystems.com/index-1.htm
