Witch engines where on the VW 411? the type4 1.7L, 1.8L , any other known engines?

you mean that the 1.8 and 1.7 were produced until '73 when the it started the production of the 2L?
or did I missunderstood?

411 engines

The 411 only had 1,7 l engines. Depending on model from 68 carbed hp to 80 F.I. hp.

The introduction of the 412 gave an alternative with the "S" engine, which was 1,8 l. and 78 to 85 hp depending on market models.
At the same time there came a quite rare 1,8 l. bus engine rated at 68 hp.
