cables in the tunnel????

Since you guys are talking about tunnels, my clutch tube has broken loose in my 68. I can hear it moving and I can't shift. I opened plenty of bug tunnels in the 70's but forget where to make the hole to reattach the clutch tube. Passenger side just behind the brake lever?

That was my guess. Looking at the original design, it looks like a pain to work on by your self. No I dont have an owners manual. If you or anyone else comes across one. Let me know. Thanks!!!!!!

For the clutch tube, first look under the back seat, remove the inspection plate that is on top of the tunnel. The clutch tube is high up on the drivers side. Look for a broken weld. Next, pull the pedal cluster, and poke your finger in there to see if the tube has broken at the front bracket, After checking front and rear, the middle mount is on the drivers side, not the passenger side. It is far more common for it to be the front or rear mount.

Of course it was broken in the middle. Someone had already gashed a huge door on the passenger side so access was easy. Thanks
