My chenowth 4lwd upgrades *Now Honda swap*

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Over due update...

Rear shock towers all done. I decided to sheet it in after I had already doubled sheared it with tubing.

I bought a used low mile 2276 for a killer deal. Came with some high dollar parts. All scat internals and DRD L6 heads.
I coated the piston tops and cylinders. I have a friend putting the motor back together while I finish the car. Just dont have enough time for everything.

"Kragen lights" Chinese knock off HID's ready to be installed. I did major research on these, they are legit. Just as bright at my buddies $300 Hella's and super cheap. I found a contact for $42.00 a piece for 7" 55w.

New rear engine cage. Had to bend out the back bar cause it was hitting the exhaust.

Rear torsion plates. Made new ones that double shear to the floor tube instead of the box style I had before.

Bought some RBP front spindles and made a limit stop. Front end is done! *Except I decided to weld the beam to the chassis. Going to do that this weekend.

I've always liked that chassis... Yours has to be the most bitchin version to date. I look forward to seeing it all buttoned up.

You have my approval.

Do any of you Vw gurus see a problem with using these bosses for engine mounts?? I don't have the top bell housing ears on my trans so wanted to add more support to the engine.

I would add some rubber in between. What if you bottom out hard? Don't want to break the engine!
