1.9 to T1 crankshaft bearnig
So, i am looking for the adapter bearing for T1 crankshaft in WBX 1.9 pre 85 block. The one on the fylwheel side...Rocky Jennings does not sell them anymore, he said something like they did not work that well. Anyone have any information what did not work, or maybe know for some bearings that do work. Where could i buy them...pleas help...tnx

The reason I do not sell them, they should coated on the inside. Costs to much as I have to do 10 at a time. I do have a few uncoated main brgs if you want to try one. I will sell you one for $60 + shipping & handling. Its way better to use a MV or B 2.1 block some 1.9 engines had the 2.1 style main brgs. With a 2.1 style block you can use the .040 line bore with a .040 thicker thrust and its pretty much a drop in, you will have to drill for a dowel pin for the locate on the oil hole. You will need the main seal that gos from the wbx size down to the bug flywheel. Rocky

Thanks for your answer! Sorry for a stupid question...why coating them? For lower friction or what? Can i use them uncoated? What would hapen if i would use them uncoated. Did you ever use them this way?
I can't get 2.1 case here in Slovenia...at least not for a normal price. Beside, i allready inserted case relocators for head studs... I was hoping to find 2.1 crank and use it in my 1.9 DF case, but no luck...do you have it maybe? (btw...is this an option - 1.9 bearings and 2.1 crank)
What is the price for everything (adapter bearing (i know $60)+handling+shipping to Slovenia - postal code 1360)

If you want to use a 1.9 block and run a T-1 crank you don't have much of a choice. I have used them in a few test engines. We had them coated as the test engines showed more wear than we liked. The engines still ran but showed wear. This is why I would use the 2.1 block. But if you can't get a 2.1 block you can try one of my uncoated bearings. Its up to you. Rocky
