Coming up to the final stages of restoration and want to put in a cd/radio but was told that the dash would have to be cut. Any ideas on this without cutting dash?
Thanks in advance

I had the same problem in my 72, and looks like I'm gonna have the same in my 67.. what I did in my 72 was leave the original in the dash and bolt my new JVC right under the dash. You'll have to remove the ash tray, but it looks great.

you can always leave the great stock look alone and put it in the glove box

THAT WAY IF YOU WANT TO PUT IT BACK TO STOCK IT IS EASY AND YOU CAN ALWAYS PUT A STOCK ON IN THE REGULAR PLACE AS A DUMMY.

i fitted a pioneer cd/radio in my 70 , only needed a small amount cutting away from both sides. the stock radio will still cover the new opening in my dash, andy.

That innovations in fiberglass place sells those glove box stereo holders, and supposedly the new style leaves you some room to still put some stuff in it. I've heard some bad things about that place, in terms of quality of products, so you might want to check around.
