Stuff I got done to my '73 Beetle this year, 2013, so far:

Alternator with internal regulator , Bosch
Manifold center section with new intake manifold boots
v-belt, Continental Conti-Tech
sump plate studs
rear shocks
fuel pump
replaced leaky fuel hose with a new hoses.
Brake job including:
Vargas master cylinder, brake light switches, front stainless steel brake hoses, Vargas wheel cylinders front & rear, new semi-metallic brake shoes, painted front pan frame head area, blue German fluid reservoir hose.

Front shocks
Horn
Wipers
v-belt again. The other one had little cracks. Continental Conti-Tech belt.
Inspection; front, interior, rear
Lube job & oil change.
Valve adjustment.
Check gear oil level
Replaced the windshield washer pump.
