I have been using Continental Conti-Tech v-belts but, I am beginning to have doubts about this brand.
I put one on in April 2013 and yesterday I removed it to inspect it. It had little cracks on the inside which may be normal but, I replaced it anyway.
I checked at a local F.L.A.P.S. and the v-belt they have for my model is not quite up to specs.
What brand of v-belts do most of you use?
TIA!
What is the best brand of 11.3 X 912mm v-belt to use?

Gates, ~annual replace and always carry your old one as a spare.
(T1s are harder on belts than just about anything other than Corvairs and old Porsches)

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Cannot stress this enough.Piledriver wrote:Gates, ~annual replace and always carry your old one as a spare.

I do not replace mine on a schedule like this, but I always have a spare and the tools in the car, and I check mine at least monthly, usually every week, when I check the oil.
