Bouncing Ghia

I'm approximately 90% complete on my 68 Ghia Convert. I took it for a quick drive down the street and the front end was bouncing like crazy. It has new KYB shocks all around. Checked the mounting and everything seems fine. ANY HINTS as to why. Thanks

Did it bounce like that before? Did you do anything else, like remove sway bar or torsion leaves? Did you lower it? Just a guess?

If your car is lowered there is nothing you can do, thats' the way it is.But if you put in KYB shock and they are white. That might be your problem.those shocks are gas filled and are very stiff shocks for a stock ride.KYB makes a shock thats oil filled and those are silver. They are alittle stiffer then stock shocks.Or you can buy a stock mexican oil filled shock.Hope this helps

The pan is from a 69 with the body a 68. And yes the shocks are white. And no it is not lowered .I'll try to change the shocks.

Thanks

I have a 73 vert with dropped spindles and avis adjusters. Also new springs, ball joints etc. I have been using the white KYB shocks for 4 years with no bouncing at all. I have 16 inch fuchs with 195/45-16. At what speed do you bounce?
