Air Cooled Stuff
Hello All I'm new to your Forum, but heavy into all air cooled cars of all types . Right now working on putting a 914 engine into a 1974 SB ( that had an engine fire 16 years ago) Looking for a 911Fan Housing Assy for a reasonable price. and some of you may have already made this conversion . Leo

Welcome to the STF!
The Type4um largely exists to support the conversion, and many of us here have done it.
There are actually many ways to skin that cat... there are even several ways to use a 911 fan setup...
The Horizontal setups inherently distribute the cooling air more evenly than the average Porsche fan conversion, and leave far more room to work on carbs or injection than T1 based cooling conversions.

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
