Hi FRNKNSTNGHIA,

Very classy body rotisserie there! and your're stripping the chassis down to the backbone. Really nice.

I can see a labor of love and money.

Is FrankenGhia there for street, dragstrip, or road courses?

FRNKNSTN is going to be a dedicated street car. Might take it to a couple of shows and track fundays, but it will be built to be enjoyed as well as looked at. Taking the time to research and source parts as we get to that stage, so the wallet factor hasn't been to crazy yet. Luckily my father has a 2500 square foot Workshop behind his house that has every tool need to restore a car. That rotisserie he made himself with his own design. We have done all the work in house and are not outsourcing anything even the paint work. He used to own a Paint and Body shop for over 12 years.

Paint scheme is a PPG Silver, and the roof will be painted Dodge Viper Black. Interior is still undecided. I might use some 1991 Honda Prelude SI seats that are from my very first car back in 98. Still in mint condition. I hear they are easy to fabricate mounts for. And since the new floor pans don't have the factory seat tracks it will look much cleaner. So I'm thinking of doing a one piece custom carpet. I will keep you posted.

FJCamper, by the way thank you for all the information you have posted about suspension and handling. I have read and re-read numerous post of yours.

Note there are marketing(AKA SPAM) bots that scour websites for phone numbers... Delete ASAP.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

So far the only progress has been getting the car ready for paint. All doors, hood, decklid, have been prepped and fitted to check gaps. Basically car is finally ready to be painted. Just waiting for a little warmer weather. Paint has been purchased. We are working on the fiberglass dash I purchased and trying to figure out the placement for the gauges.

WeldAir, I should be over there Tuesday and Wednesday, give me a call if you want to come over and see the car.

p.s. can't believe that its been 3 years since I've started. Mind you we work on it 1-2 times a week and that doesn't happen every week. There have been times where months have passed with no progress. But I am starting to see a little light at the end of the road.
