rear apron

Is the rear apron(sheet metal behind engine)available repo? My car was hit from the
rear & I can not install the rubber seal due to the sheet metal distortion.......or if I can not
find the sheet metal do you think that strips of rubber from a inner tube screwed & glued to the engine sheet metal & the apron metal would be okay.
Any other suggestions on a fix.
