i single dellorto. like a 40 drla, dual downdraft, would be best if you are going to blow thru....
then weber or solex would be second best.
for the dellorto check the ebay.....
there is a guy in italy that sells them up on ebay... there are a couple of guys here that have bought from him with good results.
or you can get one used? it is a simple carb to rebuild!! get a kit for it from cb performance and there is a diagram on think on the website or get dellorto superperformance book from them it is like $20 and goes over all dellorto carbs and all the issues that might come from them.

You can also blow through some Kadrons. Check out AJ's site. If you go low boost you can get away with running no seals. How much? I have no idea but guys on here have done it. I didn't pay much attention 'cause I was drawing through.kombi_kid wrote:kool looking for something already setup for blow thru doesnt really matter what carby i spose as sealing all the necessary parts is told to be a pain in the arse???

CB Performance(USA) or depends on how talented you are? Poke around here and see if there are some guys closer to you that can help. I know there are some turbo guys in Australia http://www.clubvw.org.au/index.html also see if you can get a hold of this guy http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic ... highlight=

yer rod penrose and sherman are good guys will get in contact with them! have read in a few places that u just use epoxy to block things up etc?? what actually needs sealing or midfying when changing to blow thru and is it possible with any carb? ie dellorto sidedraught or is it just single throat carbies?

Trying to figure this out for a set of DRLA 45's that I am going to be rebuilding. I have a blow through 2332 that I am probably not going to be running tons of boost but I don't want to be limited either.kombi_kid wrote:yer rod penrose and sherman are good guys will get in contact with them! have read in a few places that u just use epoxy to block things up etc?? what actually needs sealing or midfying when changing to blow thru and is it possible with any carb? ie dellorto sidedraught or is it just single throat carbies?
