BAJA-IT runs again

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Your holding out on us, Mr. It. STF'ers want to hear it go put-put.

So now the title of this thread needs to be changed to "BAJA-IT runs again (again)(again)" right?

Congrats on getting the motor going!

I'll change the title when I get it to where I am driving it.

Next week I hope.

I am flying to SoCal for Jaguar training this afternoon for 2 days, back late (11:50pm) on Friday, so I should be driving the Baja on Saturday. :D :D

My son did Jag training a month ago. You should see the video of him dragging one out of the desert where it really did not belong. Roosting the Jag all the way  with his Ranger. LOL

 Jags don't belong in the desert! :?

But on another note, I drove the Baja down to my dads house last night, seemed to run good :D , but it may need some carb tuning as it as a slight surge around 2500 rpm part throttle.

The only bad thing was the starter decided to die :( at my dads house so we had to push start  it so I could get home, but I made it.

The oil pressure is at 15psi at idle (850rpm, 200 oil temp) :D :D

We can push start it all week long....wouldn't be the first time we've had to do something like that. We can tune all week long, too. Can't wait for this freakin' trip!
