Need help identifying this. I am doing a lot of work to my rail over the winter, and one of the minor things that needs to be done is new gaskets under these two hats. You can see where they are seeping. The problem I have is, I have looked everywhere and cannot find out who makes these so that I can get the gaskets. Can someone help me out, please?
The major distinction is the "1915 cc" on top.
Thanks,
Matt

Re: 1915 Turbo Hat Identification
Those look like possibly "one of a kind" custom made parts? I don't recognize them, and it looks like you're going to need to open them up and clean off the mating surfaces to get a good idea of exactly what it's going to take to reseal them. Might not even be a gasket in there, or O-ring for that matter.

Thanks Karl. That is about the same conclusion I have came to. I ended up ordering these in hopes that they will do the job http://www.cbperformance.com/ProductDet ... Code=7337T
If not, oh well they are cheap.

Those gaskets are for these http://www.cbperformance.com/ProductDet ... tCode=7615, Base gaskets are what I think you are looking for, and something for the split between the 2 halves. Dave T

Thanks Dave. Maybe I will get lucky and they will work.
What are you referring to as base gasket? Would it be a custom gasket pretty much that I would have to make?

Re: 1915 Turbo Hat Identification
There's going to be some kind of gasket between the lower boost hat half and the top of the carbs. Paper gasket should work fine there. It's the upper/lower half of those hats that's going to take some investigation to know what it will take to seal up.

Air cleaner base gasket for the bottom of those hats at the carb http://www.cbperformance.com/ProductDet ... tCode=2716 , and yes I would like to see how they sealed up the 2 halves of your turbo hat.
