Mocking it up, it looks like around 13" from intake edge to pulley edge. This is just a guess though as I did not assemble the shaft, just fitted on the nosecone & added the pulley with a slight space. I have seen engines built with a custom shroud that is flat & an electric fan blowing down. The stock fan arrangement for the Type III and bay window bus engine with the TIV would probably work nicely. I have no idea how you replace the pulleys though to have it turn a blower. Definitely sounds like a project (wish I had the time) I have all the cooling tin & fan for a TIV as I converted mine to upright.
