Ocotillo Wells Night Run 2016..August 20th

Ok boys and girls, it's that time of year again. The Night Run is set for August 20th. As in the past few years we will be staying at Desert Ironwoods. They have plenty of rooms available as well as camp spots. Their number is760-767-5670 so you can make your arrangements. As in years past we will be running a long course looking for tokens in the desert so get your team ready. Teams are 3 cars that must stay together. T shirts are in the works as well. Entry fee is $20.00 per car and includes 1 shirt. A few of us are heading out Friday night so anyone that wants to come out is welcome. I am sure we will be making a few other runs. I will post up the T-shirt design once I have it but my artist buddy just got started on them this last weekend. Anyway, lets keep the sign ups organized so I can keep track of what we need, and as always if you can't make it I am happy to mail any shirts you guys like. Hit me up with any questions. There are always a few of you Orphans that I team up together. Joe and I will be there as well if a team needs a 3rd car to tag along.

I seriously doubt i'll have a transaxle ($$$$saving mode $$$$) by then so i'm out on the competition. I'll burn a vacation day to come out and be a "support rig" in my painfully stock Bronco though. Fast it aint'... but it'd certainly drag a buggy home from anywhere in Ocotillo. Still weighing the cost/benifit of hotel vs RV out there. I suppose that'll hinge on whether i'm bringing along a wife or not.
