help a new turbo guy out!
So as far as the motor goes Ive built a 2110 7.8:1, cb 044 pancheto heads, lowbugget lb2 cam, 1.25 rockers, with a low bugget drag kit (holley tp500, t3/t4 turbo) and im running a msd 6tm with a msd dizzy. I really have no idea what to do with timing. From what ive read I do not need to lock it with boost retard and Ive read to tune the dizzy to have the same amount of advance as an 009 with max advance around 2800rpm. Ive seen people say to set the max advance around 32 degrees and I plan on running 10lbs of boost so I can set the boost retard switch to 1 so ill be around 22 degrees full boost. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Was that from underlying problems or do you think that directly related to the timing or msd box messing up

I might be off target here... but surely an MS2 ECU and crank angle sensor setup would be the same price as your MSD gear? It's also more programmable and would allow you to upgrade to full EFI later if you wish. Worth thinking about.
