maybe in german models. but type1 sedan 1600i and Golf/Vento Mexican injectors are phisically the same, only change injection capacity!

I recall the Mexican manifolds injector mounts to be ~14mm ID, with injector bases to match.
(Had a complete setup I passed on to a good home, as I'll probably never build a T1 again)

If you do decide to go there, it will probably just work if you went 1835 with the right sized injector.
You would have to worry about compression ratio, as you don't want to run too much deck.

ok, I intend to leave 7.8 CR, 1.5 mm (0.060") max deck height....... I'll have to modify a little bit the combustion chambers to achieve this......My idea is just want to increase cc´s and keep everything else the same, I worry about running lean at WOT , for that I have to use a ballast resistor in CHT sensor or maybe 1800i injectors, but would have to do the appropriate tests for sure!!

In the pictures appear type1 sedan1600i, inlet manifolds, injectors and digifant ......Additionally Vw Golf 1800 injectors...all pieces are compatible!

Hi again, after cold winter I rebuilt my 1600i engine with 90.5 AA pistons, I will Use with 8.0 CR, I want use the same stock 1600i digifant ECU and injectors....Now I need a decision, use stock 30x33 valves size or increased to 32x35,5......Who is better for my 1776 efi??
