Howdy Bob,
How did the transplant go into your "Thing"?
Also did the Things come with a hard top?

Hank, good to hear from you. The thing project has come along good. However was slowed by the fact that I had loaned my van(70 ASI Riviers camper)and found the engine in pieces when i got here. Thats at the long block stage now. The T-4 rebuild is now in the long block stage as well.Soon the van will be back on the road and the Thing engine is coming out for the transplant. Also I have new wheels and tires going on in addition to paint and a tube rear bumper. All and I`m real happy with it all.
The Thing did have an optional hardtop available. Thay are rare now but aftermarket hardtops are readily available. Do you have any gas heaters for a bus? feel free to p-mail me anytime. Good luck. Bob
