Syncro Bus -- how well do they hold up

Post by Hank Winning »

We are looking at a '90 Syncro double cab pick up that is for sale as is where is
it has a bad motor----body looks good
Are there any other problems that the Syncro owners have discovered?
are there any special things to look for?
thanks

Hank, those things are rare and worth a good bit here in the states. Very few synchro pick-ups here . Think resale . Or would be very good driver. Good luck. Bob P.S. be coming by your way this week-end on the Alaska State Ferry.

consider swapping the motor over to a 2.0 L jetta engine, if you go this way.

Had a Guy tell me he had to pay $5K for a syncro tranny in the states!

They are a gold mine here.

a friend of mine in conn. has one that he said was not worth a crap. they ended up spending more than the purchase price to keep it running.
so now it sits to be used as a parts car for his son's synchro.

just his experience, though.
