How much power does the fan use?

Working on an idea that many people have mulled over before, fitting an electric fan but to progress further Im hoping to find some actual data on how much power the fan actually sucks.

Id also like to know how these figures were calculated, ie Dyno runs with the belt or without, disconnecting the fan but keeping the generator etc.

Here is an article you might find interesting. I believe that there is a lot of 'free' hp available if a person was able to design a better cooling arrangement. Maybe a variable speed fan or a fan clutch and some ram air cooling. Formula Vees and air cooled Super Vees ran with no cooling fan, just ram air scoops.
