Can I get a picture of your 912e Mallory Unilite Install?

Post by mike912e »

I don't remember how my Unilite was oriented in the engine bay of 912e. I've read that the vacuum canister should point to 7 o'clock when looking from ablove. Is that correct?

Thanks.

Well I don't have a vacuum version hope this is better then nothing. That Distributor is 25 year old and uses a Jacobs Bug Pac hidden behind my rear seats. THe coil is just uses to trigger the Jacobs.

By the way, that engine is the one of the T-4 upright conversions, the same engine I wrote my manual about-- built in 1997. We are talking 30 year and runs like new, nothing has been done to the engine ""

BTY Next Saturday will be doing the 50 bug 60 mile Bear Mountain Cruise. It is by Chris Vallone of Classic VW Beetles done every year. Great Fun but your car better be in good shape. 9:00 am Anyone is invited. GO to his site.
