Fellas,
is there any part numbers on a type 4 crank to quickly identify it? To tell if it's a 1.7/1.8 or a 2.0?

Re: Crank identification
Hi,
1.7 and 1.8 are the same, 66 mm stroke and the rod journal diameter of those cranks are 55mm.
2.0 are 71mm stroke and have a rod journal diameter of 50mm, that is the difference.
( as a matter of facts all cranks are the same the 2.0 is a turn down version of the 1.7/1.8 by turning down the rod journal from 55 to 50
they gained the extra stroke )

Thanks for the info!
Ya I knew the stroke difference, but couldn't remember the journal diameter.
Getting old sucks! LOL

2.0 are 131mm (50mm rod journal / 24mm piston pin).
