Re: Bad Bug Two
More upgrades during the off season!
All 4 gears now have the Dave Folts face plates! (Also upgraded to a Weddle 4.13 Ring and Pinion!)

Rev-6 twin disc clutch from Ron Lummus!

CO2 boost control!

...and I realized that I didn't show a pic of a lot of the new engine management stuff...

Re: Bad Bug Two
Not exactly; they replace what would normally be the synchro ring, cone and hub. This allows full power speed shifting with less risk of failure and longer maintenance intervals. I still use the clutch, but don't lift on the throttle.Ian Godfrey wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 6:15 pmDo those Dave Folts face plates function a bit like a syncro ring?

Re: Bad Bug Two
Before, Jeff was running the Redline 882C. The same as what I have on my baja bug. I need to upgrade to something with better/easier software. The hardware in the old ECU is still very robust.
