caliper adapters for boxter set up on link pin

Post by beefstew »

Hi ya'll. So, im putting boxter brakes on my '65 T1 (lanner latest rage hubs, 986 brembos, 986 rotors).

This is probably a stretch, but i figured I;d ask any how. Does any one have the dimensions or drawings of adapters to fit my set up?

God bless

Doesn't Lanner have them?

Heh. Good point. Lanner made the set up for my 1303 using Porsche 924 spindles. No reason a few parts couldn't be swapped out to make it work for a link pin set up. The only issue against using "off the shelf" Lanner parts is the hubs may be slightly different than how he'd make them for a Link pin because I had him machine then to be hub-centric for Porsche wheels.

Unfortunately the calipers wouldn't clear my 15 inch wheels and I had spent many months (actually more like years) gathering three sets for various applications, not to mention having a "temporary spare" made using the center of an old 912 wheel welded to a legit temporary spare outer rim. I'm committed to 15 inch Porsche wheels.
