2,4 type4 turbo 500hp -on gasoline- goal

Happy to report that all went well and my one run at 1,6 bar boost was about 1,66 bar at its peak and that gave 473hp crank.
At this dyno a 50hp stock 1600 gives 50 crank-converted hp.
Next week Dragtime @ Santa Pod raceway

After that I’am sure I will crank it up some day untill I see 500+ in the screen

That was a pretty happy look there Wally! I'd take 473fwhp gladly with that kind of slip being recorded. I'm thinking your 500hp goal isn't far off at current boost levels.

Are there any hub dynos near you Wally?
You may well already BE at 500HP with all that slip...

Yeah, that would be elimating that problem, but this is my ‘reference’ dyno…
We talked about the slip and my set of wheels with the drag radials could probably solve this as well.
