New to forum
I’m currently building a Formula vee race car for autocross. Of the years I’ve had several Volkswagens, including a 70 bug in high school a 70 bus 71 bus, a Meyers Manx dune buggy. And some newer cars. I’ve always loved volts wagon and can’t seem to stream very far away from it to the point where my daughters first vehicle was a new beetle. The project I have now I am learning a lot about race, cars and about built Volkswagen engines and I came here to try to get a few answers. After looking around. I believe that I am in the right place. I currently reside in Connecticut on the Massachusetts line and work as a first responder.

Re: New to forum
I am looking at trading a 1200 cc engine built for Formula Vee for a 1600 cc engine built for SCCA autocross. My engine was built by Autoworks in Pennsylvania and I have a complete build sheet and Dyno sheet on it.
The engine I’m looking at was built at T.w.engineering in California and I have a basic build sheet on it but I don’t know much about what is there. I’m hoping someone is willing to look at it and tell me if this is a well-built engine or just a stock build.
I would add the pictures to this, but I don’t know how. I will type it out if I have to.
