944 rear torsion bars

For road racing, autocrossing, or just taking that curve in style. Oh yea, and stopping!

I will say this, and you may have seen me say it elsewhere. I absolutely loved that suspension set up, however, I discovered, when autocrossing, upon hard launches or hard L->R or R->L transitions, the car would slam down on the bump stops.....
Foam bump stops are used on most all modern cars for a reason-- They work far better and provide actual suspension travel.
The ones I used on my square are from a ~2015 Ford, from ford racing. There is no slamming even jumping railroad tracks at ludicrous speed. The difference was astonishing.Super progressive response.

Note MK4+ VW/Audis etc springs "sag" with age... Lots of folks believe that.
Only somewhat true... They ride on the bump stops.
The bump stops set the ride height, which gets lower as they deteriorate. Pop in new bump stops at ~150K (or 300K) and the ride height is magically restored.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
