1600 Engine Case Metal Deterioration
AE coded 1600 Dual Port that has metal deterioration around the oil screen opening. Can this be repaired?

New case in order... I've never seen anything with that much corrosion be worth repairing. I suppose if you want to spend a ton of time and a ton of money on it, you might be able to come up with a solution, but the best one is to replace the case. Likely if the case looks that bad, it's not the only problem you have.
