Hi first post on here.
I have a Mexican ACD engine running on a Megaaquirt ECU and would like to build a bigger engine.
What is the maximum CC that the Mexican manifold can support? Was thinking of a 1968 (92x74) 35.5 & 32 valves and about a 5,000 rpm rev limit. It looks fairly easy to swap for a 45mm throttle body and increase the main part of the inlet manifold, not quite sure what to do about the inlet ends where the injectors are mounted yet. Would this set up be ok?
Cheers

Not really a CC question. The mex intake has flow limits which will limit the HP. You can increase the CC and get a load more torque but it will taper off once you hit the flow limit.
You can cheat the flow limit by adding forced induction (supercharger or turbo) but once you spend the cash for that, it doesn’t make much sense to keep the mexi intake.

I'm aware it's about flow, hence I quoted valve sizes and expected max revs, cam is still to be decided.
Maybe I should rephrase the question to "what is the maximum hourse power the mexi manifold can support?"
Turbo's are not somthing that I wish to do at the moment, I did look into an AMR500 blower (with a smaller engine size) but came to the conclusion that it wouldn't work with the multi point fuel injection, as without the quench effect of the fuel, the inlet temps would be way too high.
