Kadron 40 problems

Hey, trying to tune my kadrom 40 carbs. 1600 dp all stock except for carbs exhaust and electronic ignition. I think me and my dad have gotten the idle set pretty good but it runs really rich. Like it still blows a little smoke and when you rev it uo there's smoke. Obviously I'd be fine with it a little rich but it fouled out plugs before. Should I see what jets they are and possibly order the jets for my setup?

My other issue is that the carbs aren't consistent. The rams keep fluctuationg at idle. It just moves up and down and won't stay in one spot it seems. Idk how to explain it well but is this an issue with these carbs?

Not sure what parts you mean.
Make sure pump jets are set equally. Not Too much or Maybe black smoke...
Probably good check strip rebuild...
