Forum usage

This forum seems to be mainly about using type 4 engines, and not about type 4 them selves... Any type 4 owners out there? I have a 72 T411 and a 74 T12, and am in the UK.

You are right! Eventhough it is called the "Type 4-rum", the main motivation is type4 engines. Usually in Bugs, but also other VW aircooled vehicles.
If you have any questions, feel free to post them here. There may be other 411 owners lurking!

Hi Chris,
Yeah, this forum is mostly about using the Type 4 in a Bug/KG/T3 and hotrodding the engine, but I've been thinking about having a seperate forum for the 411/412 crowd. The Type 4 owners, actually enthusiasts, are few and far, so it would be helpful to help keep these cars on the road and providing a fresh look to the VW scene.

How about it, Captain? Make a 411/412 car forum? I'll try to come up with a name.

....Well, let's see. 411/412 forum? Hmmmm, a 411/412 forum, but what name do we use? O.K., a name that lets people know 411/412's are talked about. 411/412's! I'll think of something relating to 411/412's real quick, here.
....Got it! Maybe like "411/412 forum"???
